Power cable is the one to which load is connected. Whereas
control cable is used to pass the command.
EX: To switch on the heavy motor we need to press the push
button. i.e., the command passes through the control cable to
the contactor where power cables are connected. As soon as
the command reaches the contactor it gets switched on
allowing the motor to run.
